Air Duct Cleaning in Venice, CA

Whole-home cleaning of supply and return ducts, registers and the blower area, with photos of what we find.

Quick answer

Air duct cleaning removes the dust, debris, pet hair and construction dust that build up inside your heating and cooling ducts. Pure Air Cleaning cleans every supply and return run, the registers, the main plenums and the blower area using a high-powered vacuum and rotary brushes. Most homes take two to four hours.

Overview

Air Duct Cleaning done thoroughly

Every time your heat or AC runs, air moves through the ducts and carries dust with it. Over the years, dust, pet hair, lint and debris settle inside the duct walls, the registers and the return.

We clean the whole system, not just the vent covers you can see. That includes every supply and return run, the registers and boots behind them, the main plenums and the blower compartment.

Before we start, we inspect several vents and the main ducts and show you photos. If your ducts don't need cleaning, we will tell you.

Our process

What to expect

  1. Inspect

We look inside several vents and the main ducts, photograph what we find and explain it before giving you a quote.

  2. Protect

We cover floors in the work areas and seal off the vents we are not working on.

  3. Connect the vacuum

A high-powered vacuum with filtration attaches to the system and pulls air and debris out of the ducts.

  4. Brush and clean

Rotary brushes and air whips loosen dust in every supply and return run while the vacuum carries it out.

  5. Fix what's needed

If a duct is torn, a connection is loose or a vent cap is damaged, we show you and fix it if you approve.

  6. Walk through the results

You see before-and-after photos, and we answer any questions before we leave.

FAQ

Questions we hear often

How long does air duct cleaning take?

A typical home with one HVAC system takes about two to four hours. Larger homes, two systems or heavy buildup take longer. We give you a time estimate with your quote.

Do you clean the return vents too?

Yes. Returns collect the most dust because they pull air from the rooms, so we clean every return as well as the supply runs.

Will it make a mess?

No. The vacuum keeps the system under negative pressure, so dust is pulled into the machine, not into your home. We also cover floors in the work areas.

Do I need to be home?

Someone needs to let us in and see the inspection photos. You don't need to stay for the whole cleaning.
